Join MAABC

Why join MAABC ?
We welcome new adult members of all abilities, and pride ourselves on being a very friendly and welcoming club. You are welcome to visit MAABC and meet some of the members and coaches. MAABC offers great facilities and a friendly coaching team, as well as regular social events.
There are lots of rowing clubs based in Southwest London, and it can be difficult to work out which club would suit you best. We think MAABC is one of the best clubs in the area, whether you are looking to win medals at national or even international level, or just for a nice paddle down the river on a Sunday morning. Please take a look at the Squads & Coaching page for a summary of the different squads active in the club, and the individual squad pages for more information.
If you have never rowed before, but fancy giving it a try, then MAABC is the perfect place to start! Please take a look at our “Learn to Row” programme to find out more. Rowing is a great way to get fit and compete as part of a team, whilst making new friends and having a lot of fun along the way!
We unfortunately don’t have a dedicated setup for juniors, but we do welcome juniors on a case by case basis. If you are interested in rowing with the club and are a junior, please contact the club captain (captain@maabc.com). We are unable to accommodate under 18 rowers on learn to row programmes.

If you have already done some rowing, and are looking for a club in London where you can train and compete, please contact our Club Captain Hilary Cook (captain@maabc.com) to arrange a visit.
