Constitution, Rules and Policies

Mortlake Anglian and Alpha Boat Club (MAABC) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with charity number 1212046.

The Constitution of the Club sets out the rules under which the CIO operates, and the powers and obligations of the elected charity trustees.

In accordance with the Constitution the Trustees of the CIO have delegated their powers and functions to the MAABC Committee and adopted the MAABC Club Rules & Byelaws for the proper conduct and management of the club.

Safety is a prime consideration for the club. Our safety policies are set out in the Safety and Navigation section of our website, which is designed to help all club members to be aware of the risks presented by rowing in general and in particular rowing on the tidal stretch of the river Thames.
