MAABC crews, some young and others a bit older, raced at Molesey Regatta on 21st July with some success. It was an extremely hot day that was a challenge to all who took part.
Our men’s masters won F/G/H quads beating Thames in the first race and Kingston in the final. In both races the MAABC Masters H crew dominated and won comfortably.
The crew consisted of Peter Hoile, Colin Cracknell, Keith Mahony and Andy Napier. This was the fourth Summer regatta entered by our men’s masters in a G/H quad and they have won in three regattas, Borne, Richmond and Molesey and only lost in the final at Kingston by an extremely annoying 2 feet.
Peter Hoile (again) and Richard Roberts raced at Molesey in a G double and won in a straight final against Bewl Bridge with Colin Cracknell this time racing for Bewl Bridge where he now does most of his rowing.
