Recently Jen and Katy raced for England in the Home International in Ireland, with James as coach. England’s crew selection policy meant they raced in the 4+ and 8 rather than the 2- they won trials in – with their first crew outings the day before the race – and this after a 17 hour coach journey to the venue of Lough Rinn. This was first and foremost a team event and credit to the girls (and James) for finishing second to Scotland in both boats and helping England win the Senior Women’s event. We are very proud of you!
On the same weekend Alice and Louise raced at Staines regatta, producing another MAA win.
