Ken Williams was a highly valued member of MAABC who died in 2018. To show appreciation for him as an active member and Vice President a new pair was named Ken Williams on 12th November. Ken’s daughter Zoe christened the boat and his son Russell said a few words. The boat naming included many former members of Horseferry Rowing Club where Ken was a member before he joined MAABC. Club member Kirsty Durman will be running the London Marathon to raise money for Mind, a charity supporting people living with mental health problems and their families. The charity provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
