Hello everyone, We are all looking forward to the club opening up on Monday 29th March. This message is to remind you of the precautions we all need to take to protect ourselves and each other. Update on Safety Matters and Role of your new CRSA Alice Jenkinson

Dear Members, I am pleased to inform you that Alice Jenkinson has taken on the role of Club Rowing Safety Adviser (CRSA) commencing 9 November 2016.  Her role is primarily to advise the Captain and the Club Committee on all things affecting safety on the water, so that the right steps can be taken to keep members and other river users safe, and to keep the reputation of our Club on the Tideway intact. Jubilee River Pageant Weekend – river closures

Controlled navigation and river closures will be in force over the weekend of the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant - please make sure you are aware of the restrictions in place, and arrange your outings accordingly! Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race – 2.15pm, 7th April

The 158th annual Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race will take place at 2.15pm on Saturday 7th April. More information about the race is available on the official race website (www.theboatrace.org). As usual, the MAABC boathouse will be set up as part of the Finish HQ, and host the awards ceremony after the race. Please ensure that the car park is left clear on the day of the race, and plan any visits to the club/outings accordingly.
