Successful club weekend and Happy Birthday Nina!

Firstly a very Happy 95th Birthday to club president Nina today. It was fabulous of you to wow the crowds at our regatta on Saturday with your row past with Sarah Vine - in a very challenging blustery wind. Next a big thank you and well done to the many people from the club who helped make Saturday such a club success. Borne at Chiswick Bridge Regatta 2022

Entries are now open on BROE for this year’s Borne at Chiswick Bridge Regatta which will take place on Saturday 7 May 2022.    Racing takes place over 1000m from a free start between Chiswick Bridge and Kew Rail Bridge. Entries close at 5pm on Sunday 1 May. Draw to take place on Monday 2 May. The poster for this year’s regatta is here. MAA Masters in Germany

Last weekend some of the racing men’s Masters, Andy Napier, Peter Harvey, Colin Cracknell & Peter Hoile, along with the supporters club, wives & daughters, took up a very long outstanding invitation from one of our former members (when we were across the river), Jochen Kleinertz of the Akademischer Ruderclub Würzburg, (ARCW) Germany. We entered a MMH4x- in the Bocksbeutelregatta which is on the Main River every October. This is a head race for all classes of boats, from juniors to Masters.
